Kids Ministry at Summitview

Kids are a vital part of church life. We commit to coming alongside parents to help cultivate a heart for God at a young age. Our nursery is open before Sunday’s service to the end of the service. Preschool through 5th grade are invited to worship through song with their families. Kids, preschool-5th grade, will be dismissed before the life-transforming message for a 40 minute kid’s class. Feel free to keep your kids in the service if you prefer.

Nursery
Our Nursery at Calvary Summitview provides a warm, welcoming environment where infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for during the worship service. Inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:14—“Let the little children come to me”—our trained volunteers create a peaceful and nurturing space where even the youngest are embraced with the love of Christ. Parents can worship with peace of mind, knowing their little ones are safe and cherished.

Children’s Church
Children’s Church is designed for preschool and elementary-aged kids to encounter the love of God in a way that makes sense to them. Through The Biggest Story curriculum, they explore the overarching narrative of Scripture in a fun and meaningful way. Believing that children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), we strive to point them to Jesus through joyful worship, engaging Bible teaching, and personal connection.

Safety Protocols
Because every child is precious in God’s sight (Isaiah 43:1), the safety and well-being of our children are foundational to everything we do. At Calvary Summitview, all Children’s Ministry volunteers are background-checked and trained in safety procedures. Each classroom is structured to ensure a safe, welcoming environment where every child is known, valued, and protected.
